Each piece undergoes a multi-step finishing process that begins with hand-sanding to 220-grit smoothness, followed by a rich cherry stain that penetrates deep into the wood fibers.
Our catalyzed lacquer topcoat provides exceptional resistance to water rings, scratches, and daily wear. The finish showcases the natural wood grain while offering protection that stands up to years of use. Unlike particleboard alternatives, solid wood construction means the Valdemar can be refinished if desired, extending its lifespan well beyond typical bedroom furniture.
