Materials & Construction
We build the Garrison Console Table from solid North American hardwood, selecting boards for consistent grain and color before they enter our workshop. Each joint uses traditional mortise-and-tenon construction, reinforced with wood glue and dowels – no particle board or veneer shortcuts.
The finish process takes five days. Our team hand-sands each surface to 220 grit, applies a wood conditioner, then builds up three coats of stain followed by two coats of protective topcoat. This multi-step approach brings out the natural grain while creating a surface that resists water rings, scratches, and everyday wear.
Dimensions & Placement
The Garrison Console Table measures 48 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 30 inches tall – proportions that work behind a sofa, along a hallway wall, or in an entryway. The 30-inch height aligns with standard table height, making it comfortable to use while standing.
The 16-inch depth keeps the footprint narrow enough for tighter spaces while still providing usable surface area. We recommend leaving at least 3 feet of clearance in front of the table so drawers can open fully and you have room to move comfortably.
Finish Options & Care
Choose between two hand-applied finishes: Walnut (a warm medium brown with red undertones) or Espresso (a deep chocolate brown with subtle grain variation). Both finishes are sealed with a water-resistant topcoat that protects against everyday spills and humidity changes.
For daily care, wipe the surface with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately. Avoid commercial furniture polishes containing silicone, which can build up over time and dull the finish. Once or twice a year, treat the wood with our Furniture Care Cream to maintain moisture balance and restore luster.

Yes, the drawer pulls are mounted with standard screw placement (3-inch center-to-center spacing) that accommodates most aftermarket hardware. The included antique bronze pulls are attached with machine screws accessible from inside the drawer box.
If you prefer a different style or finish, simply unscrew the existing pulls and install your own using the same mounting holes. We recommend pulls or knobs between 3 and 4 inches wide for proportion.
Our 10-year guarantee covers manufacturing defects, structural failures, joint separation, drawer glide malfunction, and finish defects under normal residential use. If you experience any of these issues, contact our customer service team with photos and your order number.
We’ll either send replacement parts with installation instructions or arrange for repair or replacement at no cost to you. Normal wear, color variations in natural wood, and damage from misuse or accidents are not covered.
Walnut is a medium brown with warm red and amber undertones that highlight the natural grain variation. It pairs well with warm color palettes and traditional or transitional decor.
Espresso is a deep chocolate brown with subtle grain showing through – richer and darker than Walnut. It works beautifully in contemporary spaces and complements cooler color schemes. Both finishes are hand-applied with the same multi-step process and protective topcoat.
At 16 inches deep, the Garrison has a slim profile suitable for most hallways. We recommend measuring your hallway width and ensuring at least 3 feet of clearance in front of the table so the drawers can fully extend and you can move comfortably past it.

The Garrison is designed for indoor residential use in climate-controlled environments. While the finish provides some moisture resistance for everyday spills, we don’t recommend placing it in bathrooms, covered porches, or other high-humidity areas where temperature and moisture fluctuate significantly.
Extreme humidity can cause wood to expand and contract, potentially affecting drawer alignment and finish integrity over time. For best longevity, keep the table in spaces with stable temperature and moderate humidity levels.
