How the Pull-Out System Works
The Irina uses a tri-fold mattress system rather than a traditional bar-frame mechanism. You simply remove the seat cushions, grasp the fabric loop at the base, and pull forward—the mattress unfolds in three sections to create a flat 60″ × 72″ sleep surface. No lifting the entire sofa or fighting with metal bars that dig into your back.
Our 5-inch gel memory foam mattress provides medium-firm support suitable for back sleepers, side sleepers, and stomach sleepers. The gel infusion helps regulate temperature, so guests don’t wake up overheated in the middle of the night. The mattress cover unzips completely for machine washing, which we recommend doing between guest visits.
