We build the Rorratt from solid acacia hardwood, chosen for its natural durability and beautiful grain patterns that improve with age. The butcher-block top is end-grain construction, meaning the wood fibers stand vertical to absorb knife marks and resist scarring. This same material choice appears in professional kitchens because it’s self-healing and gentler on your blade edges. The cabinet frames use mortise-and-tenon joinery at stress points, not just screws or dowels.

The Rorratt packs 10 cubic feet of storage into a footprint that fits most kitchen layouts. Yes, we include four adjustable leveling feet as an alternative mounting option. During assembly, you simply attach the feet to the bottom frame instead of the casters—the mounting holes work for both.
