Solid Wood Construction & Joinery
We craft the Saree Coffee Table from premium kiln-dried hardwood selected for consistent color and tight grain. Each frame uses traditional mortise-and-tenon joints secured with hardwood dowels and wood glue—no screws or brackets that loosen over time.
The tabletop is edge-glued from boards carefully matched for grain continuity, then sanded through six progressive grits before finishing. Our catalyzed conversion varnish creates a durable, low-sheen surface that resists water rings, scratches, and daily wear. This is the same commercial-grade finish we apply to our dining tables and bedroom furniture.
Dimensions & Room Planning
The Saree measures 48 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 18 inches tall—proportions that work beautifully in front of standard sofas and sectionals. We recommend allowing at least 14 to 18 inches between the table edge and sofa front for comfortable legroom.
The open lower shelf sits 12 inches above the floor, providing ample clearance for woven baskets, coffee table books, or decorative trays. Total weight capacity is 150 pounds on the top surface and 75 pounds on the lower shelf.

No assembly is required. Every Saree Coffee Table ships fully assembled from our North Carolina workshop. Simply unpack, adjust the leveling glides if needed, and place the table in your space. We handle all construction and quality checks before the table leaves our facility.
The top surface supports up to 150 pounds evenly distributed. The lower shelf holds up to 75 pounds. Both surfaces use solid hardwood construction with mortise-and-tenon joinery, providing excellent strength for everyday use including books, trays, decorative objects, and occasional feet.
